California Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero named Michelle Herczog and David Gordon Champions of Civics at this year's Civic Learning Summit. The award, presented at the will of the Chief Justice, celebrates the ongoing commitment of students, organizers, and educators to restore quality civic learning in California public schools. Both Herczog and Gordon have been long-time partners and advocates dedicated to the supporting the Power of Democracy Civic Learning Initiative.
