CALAX Subsection 2 Progress Update – End of August 2026
Here’s our latest look at the ongoing construction of CALAX Subsection 2, from Governor’s Drive towards Open Canal Interchange.
Despite the recent Habagat rains that affected construction activities in Cavite, work continues along different areas of the alignment. Some sections are already taking shape, while concrete paving, bridge approach works, drainage, and other remaining activities continue whenever weather and site conditions permit.
In this update, we’ll also take a closer look at the latest progress around the Open Canal Interchange and other key sections along the alignment.
As always, this video documents the actual condition of the project at the time of filming. Construction progress may vary from one area to another, especially during the rainy season.
