Junior officers of the Cadian Shock Trooper Regiments, Lieutenants are platoon commanders and are the most common officer type within the Guard... as well as the ones with the most casualty rates. They stand apart from equivalents in other armies, however, as many are survivors of the infamous White Shield formations and as such possess far greater combat experience and thereby, the respect of the enlisted guardsmen. They earned their rank.
Wth the destruction of Cadia, these men are becoming a precious commodity and many now command company level formations with so many superiors killed in action...
Voice acting done for Dawn of War Soulstorm: Unification Mod, Cadian Lieutenants are a new hero unit available to the Imperial Guard and operate as attachable secondary commanders. Their main strength is in their ability to boost the soldiers around them. Available at Tier 2 from the Infantry Command Building.
