Hey everyone. Today I’m going to show you how to replace the cabin air filter on a Honda S2000. This is a maintenance item that is often overlooked but is so easy and inexpensive to perform.
Steps.
1. The first thing you want to do is remove the weather strip on the passenger side of the engine bay. To do this you will need to remove the rivets holding the strip to the plastic tray. Use a 5mm socket on the underside of the rivets to pop them out of place.
2. Once the weather strip is removed lift up on the plastic tray and remove the cabin air filter container.
3. Remove the old filter from the container by prying the tabs open and pushing the filter out. Install the new filter by pushing it into the container and snapping it into place.
4. Lift up on the plastic tray and replace the cabin air filter container.
5. Replace the weather stripping by snapping the rivets back into place.
