Evasive Motorsports is a company name that is synonymous for quality builds and race car preparation. Since 2002, they have been racing and tuning Honda S2000s and in 2011 they decided to start their own aftermarket products under the name EVS Tuning. Last year they introduced their “Honda S2000 Race Spec Roll Bar”. Today I’m going to share my thoughts on the roll bar and my personal experience installing it in my Honda S2000 club racer.
The good stuff
- Well packaged
- No fitment issues
- Ready for both street and race use out of the box
- OEM seat belts mount and work well
- Fits inside the OEM hardtop well
- Meets SCCA and NASA regulations
The bad stuff
- No instructions or packing list
- Received washers that didn't fit
Stuff I learned
- OEM hardtop latches won't work with race spec roll bars
