Enjoy the view from the cab of White Pass train #2 from Carcross, Yukon, to Pavey Siding, British Columbia, alongside beautiful Lake Bennett. This is the first part of a three-part set that goes from Carcross to Skagway, Alaska.
The view is almost entirely straight ahead as we enjoy the stunning scenery along the lake. This was shot the first year that the line was re-opened for passenger service to Carcross, so there are several slow orders...all the better to enjoy the scenery.
This was recorded before the GE 90-series were re-engined, so you'll hear #96 with the original engine.
