UPDATE, 6 Mar 2021: I've solved this problem. My current best approach to suggest is to use the Electroware C64 PSU(s). They supply a more correct AC voltage, unmodified.
Details here: "Electroware C64 PSU heavy-duty mod (30W DC power)" (2 Dec 2020)

UPDATE, 9 Nov 2020: I received an email from Keelog acknowledging the problem and, "offer returning the product for a refund (and perhaps shipping another one once we have this problem under control)." I find this reasonable. See the comment for details.

UPDATE, 16 Oct 2020: I installed a heatsink on the voltage regulator (VR2) to accommodate the high AC output voltage (11+ volts) of the Keelog power supply. See the comment for more details.

In this video: I demonstrate some debugging of a screen-glitching/crash/reset problem I'm experiencing with my Commodore 64 (motherboard ASSY 326298 REV A (c) 1982) when using a Keelog power supply (c64dual PSU model PSUC64DMGRUS) to replace my original Commodore power supply (1983). My C64 works fine with the original Commodore PSU.
Temperatures reported in the video are degrees Fahrenheit.

Please let me know your thoughts about how I might solve the problem.
I wrote Keelog 12 Oct 2020, via email, inquiring how we might solve the problem.
