For their new single ‘Wild Heart’ (produced by Koen Gisen) Byron Bay contacted young actress and model Danièla Degraux. The video, directed by Jeffrey Lambracht, features a promiscuous immoral woman played by Degraux. According to frontman Tom Verstappen they couldn’t have cast a better actress to play this femme fatale.
“The new song is about a relationship between two people with completely different personalities, neither of them knows what they are longing for” says Tom Vertrappen. “This was the feeling we tried to transfer onto the screen”.
It was Degraux’s role as Claudia in the popular Eén sunday night comedy ‘Biker Boys’ that convinced the band to choose her as the leading actress for their music video.
Degraux says it is the first time she and Byron Bay are working together “I had already heard some of their songs on Studio Brussels and I really liked their sound. They have some catchy songs”.
‘Wild Heart’ is the third single the young belgian band will release. It will be the first single from their new EP that will be released on February the 26th.
