In this video I build a replica of a spring type cutoff tool (parting tool) inspired by a build from @WinkysWorkshop
My version was redesigned to work with a BXA quick change tool holder.
This type of tool allows for some controlled deflection in the tip of the tool to control chatter and (hopefully) prevent dig ins and broken tools.
The outcome was not what I was hoping for but another version by @thehobbymachinistnz , also a BXA version did work well.
I have put the project on hold pending some further investigation. I will do a follow up if I get better and more consistent results.
