Since the dawn of man, we have only dreamed of one single thing....

That is to make Mcdonalds Chicken Nuggets at home
and to know what kind of meat is in there and that little voice in your head that's like "no way this shit is real" and you push down that voice because its correct but to acknowledge that you spent almost 10 bucks on this fake crap but you push on and finish them because you need something to fill the void in your life......
No Longer.
Today we take to the stars and do just that, make batter style fried chicken nuggets made out of chicken with seasonings and ONLY chicken with seasonings and also make some knockoff sauces that half work but the nuggets came out great and now we can truly say we have nuggets at home and never go back to stupid ass mcdonalds ever again.

Sauces

Sweet and Sour Sauce

1/4 cup peach preserves
1/4 cup apricot preserves
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
5 teaspoons white vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons corn starch
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Blend

2 tablespoons water

Combine all ingredients except water in a food processor or blender and puree until the mixture is smooth.
Pour mixture into a small saucepan over medium heat. Add water, stir, and bring mixture to a boil. Allow it to boil for five minutes, stirring often. When the sauce has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool. Store sauce in a covered container in the refrigerator.




Barbecue Sauce
1/2 cup Kraft original flavor barbecue sauce
1/3 cup Bullseye® original barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon light corn syrup

Combine the ingredients very well. Microwave on high for about 30 seconds, then stir again. Use immediately, or cover and refrigerate until needed. Makes about 6.5 ounces (6 packets) of Barbecue Sauce.


Nuggets

Pound of chicken
Rough cut in a bowl
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
Dash of celery salt
2 tbsp cornstarch
Pinch of Msg

-Food processor until it looks like a meatball
-Portion using small ice cream scoop so they are even steven
-Form into “nugget shape” and toss in cornstarch
-Freeze them for 30 minutes


Make the Batter while they chill
1 cup AP flour
¼ cup of cornstarch
1 tsp paprika
Pinch of salt
Small pinch of white pepper
½ tsp of garlic powder
1 can of club soda slowly add ⅓ at a time (355 ml)_

Heat oil to 350

Set up after fry station (sheet pan wire rack)

Take nuggets from freezer and dip in loose batter and immediately into oil
Fry for about 4-5 minutes
Thermometer check over 160 degrees f

let cool to not burn your face and enjoy much better and way more filling nuggets.
