The Business Refugee Action Network (BRAN) brought together global business leaders, philanthropic organisations and government officials during the 2019 United Nations General Assembly to take a stand for refugees and call on governments to do more. Speakers included International Rescue Committee (IRC) president and CEO David Miliband; former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon; British entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson; and Obayemi Olawale, a former refugee from Nigeria who now owns a medical supply transportation business.

The International Rescue Committee helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future.
