The Bushman Painting on the cave wall at Baboon Point in Elands Bay are of great historic value to the early culture of South Africa. They are easy to access and there are no gate fees or security on hand so it is up to us to admire them and not to destroy our heritage. It may be a 2.5 hour drive but there's plenty of accommodation available in the town as well as a campsite. The West Coast may be rugged but it has an amazing appeal so do visit if you get the chance.
