Elite Solo Class Certification Mission 29
Dromi in Permanent Burst state. Why? I don't know.
I watched a lot of people Perfect solo this mission.
The strat used here in this video is the most common by far. Some people use Hold bullets to lock it in place and others are lucky enough to get Dromi to do the attacks that allow you to safely get in position under his core back to back.
Either way, this is the easiest and most lowest effort way of getting a Perfect Clear on this thing.
I'll hold my usual nitpicks of stunlock runs being unhype to watch and all that and I'll instead tell you what I originally had planned for this video.
I wanted to use the Phantom Accel Trigger to dance through its retarded hitboxes and Perfect Guard everything else. The problem was that damn Dandelion Puff attack.
When it pops that, you just have to respect it no matter what. Even if an opening appears, you can't approach because that attack is too unreliable to Perfect Guard consistently. Best way to deal with it is to get behind something and make Dromi come out to get you.
The other problem was that there are multiple cases where you Perfect Guard something and still get hit by a subsequent part of the same attack you just guarded. That goes again my religion.
If I can't have a +2sec advantage average on attacks I Perfect Guard, I'm not having fun and your attacks are too stupid for me to think about logically.
So yeah. I spent a full two days trying to run this Dromi like that and came up with nothing. Dromi, the Aragami who I hate most next to all the Small Type Aragami.
Eventually I just said to myself "This is not fun."
Then threw on the Biting Edge and recorded this video and sure enough beat it on the first try.
Go figure. I coulda tried it a few more times to get a better time or something but I don't care about time and I'm not recording another video with this mission ever again.
The best part of this mission is that a Dromi in Permanent Burst mission is out of the way for future updates and now we can look forward to missions with all the other Ash Aragami in permanent Burst (?)

Biting Edge is the hardest weapon to use in the game.
It is also the strongest weapon in the game when used effectively.
Now! Go on and immortalize everything I say and quote this description in 4 months after the game has gotten 6 more balance patches and this statement is no longer valid!
All jokes aside, I spent so much time practicing with Edge that it has now become my 3rd most played weapon. Only for me to show up to this video with all these skills in hand, just to stunlock everything in EZPZ fashion. Go figure.
But hey, heres a special tip for actually reading my video descriptions:
During Glaive mode, you can Devour while Diving. You can also cancel the Dive into a normal attack to exit Glaive mode. I really, really wanted to show this in the video but just never got the chance to.
Might be because, this weapon brings me extremely bad luck.
Like, the kinds of abstract and absurd things that were happening in the recording of this video cant be explained without words that arent Thats just bad luck.
But its all good, Ive been a closet Edge Boi for a couple months now.
Maybe one day I can level up and be an Edge Lord like that one guy on YT I got huge respect for.

I hate this damn thing so much. Every damn attack it does is annoying and has hitboxes all over the place. Hate it so much, I especially took time out to learn its attack patterns because Im not letting something I hate body me free (Fighting Game player mentality)
Imagine picking up the salt shaker to sprinkle some seasoning on your delicious steak and the whole fucking shaker flops open and all the salt goes everywhere. Imagine that and you got Dromis hitboxes.
Dont even get me started on his slutty Devour and Burst Mode.
Ugh.
Anyway.
Spear is amazing by the way.
Like, seriously.
Its got incredibly good Burst Arts and the way you can use a Charge Glide Burst Art to go into OPEN MODE and then carry the mode into other Burst Arts just makes sense so much sense to me.
In the video I keep the open mode going for like 12sec or something. Its legit and its really really fun.
Im thoroughly impressed with what they did with this weapon. Just hope its glorious-ness doesnt change in updates.
I wasnt really a Spear boi before but I always respected it as a good weapon with a solid learning curve.
But now? Hell, count me in (^_^)

Call her Aqua Current or Miku on drugs or whatever you want.
She got 10/10 boss enemy design in my books. Love that sassy flair she got in her attacks. Makes it fun to learn her patterns.
(Either that, or maybe Im just an M who likes girls with twin tails stepping on me orz)
This is actually a really fun boss fight. Unfortunately crippled by the frame rate when a lot of water gets splashed around.
Try using the Ice buff and parry this boss and you might just witness a slideshow orz
I can parry the backhand spin attack 100% of the time, but the potential frame rate drop got me so scared I just stick to dodging. Wonder if this is just a problem on the regular PS4 or if Pro, Xbox or PC users experience the same thing?
Either way, its damn annoying and directly impeding on my gameplay experience.

Most of these were done on 1.20 or 1.31 and Rank 7 was completed on 1.40.
I cant get these stats displayed in English so you will have to make do orz
No autoguard was used and I only used a Hold bullet on one single mission (West Route 6# with the Chi You and a Marduk)
I decided to do this as part of my journey in getting good at God Eater 3, and there is now two things I can tell you for sure as someone who has Perfect Cleared every mission in the game.
The first is that the Free Class missions are harder than the Solo Class Missions when played solo. This is something I have said for a long time but it really needs to be emphasized.
The second and probably most important thing I can tell you is that this achievement means absolutely nothing.
I mean, you can use Hold install skills, Hold bullets, element weapons, MPW and autoguard and still net a Perfect Clear.
On top of that you can just run in a circle until the Aragami does an unsafe attack and then punish, because why the hell would you take the risk of ever trying to JG or punish anything otherwise? :V
This achievement is just a question of your dedication and using the right tools for every mission which belies the stigma of a potentially skilled player who has earned a Perfect Clear for every mission in the game.
But I guess its whatever.
This part of my journey hasnt helped me get good even a fraction as much as playing with Rank 1 only has. I just learned that you can either stunlock everything or just run in a circle to consistently Perfect Clear everything.
I also learned that when you do that, you learn nothing about actually dealing with attack patterns and above all else, its a boring and uneventful way to play.
As for me,
I want to be the unofficial spearhead of the official Crispy JG inspection committee.
Every time you run away from any attack or a devour Im gonna glare at you like you just threw paper in the plastic recycle bin.
