"I'm burning out. I'm a supernova."
I was playing around in FL Studio for a little while and came up with this little tune. It's VERY different from my normal orchestral instrumental, but I think it's fun. It definitely took me out of my comfort zone. I know I'm not great at EDM or whatever, but it's fun to try new things every once in a while.
I had recorded vocals for this, but decided that I like it much better without them. The melody carries itself without any vocals.
I've been dealing with some severe burnout lately, and it's made functioning a nightmare. I'm pleasantly surprised that I've been able to write as much music as I have lately.

Maybe it would work with more specific mixing and timing, but honestly I just hate the vocals altogether.

I actually wrote the lyrics from the perspective(s) of Italy and Romano, hence the switching from right to left. Left is Italys. Right is Romanos.
Once I heard this song, I just HAD to write lyrics for it. I had fun with it. I actually TRIED when I was mixing the audio. =w=
I dont know how many times I had to re-render this thing to get it to work properly. Good grief. I tried uploading this last night and the upload failed. (File type not supported sheesh, it was a .avi file!) But, hopefully, thisll be better. =w=

I was hoping that, when I finished serving revenge, I could serve repentance.
I love this boy. So much so that I got a flash of inspiration after uploading the Vox Machina Theme yesterday and could not NOT share the results. Alas... another afternoon spent feverishly writing music...
This piece is specifically for Percy during the Whitestone arc (which Im currently in the middle of atm). I hoped to capture the desperation and confusion and darkness within Percy on his quest for vengeance.
Moments of darkness in brooding Db major with a soft horn solo accentuating the majesty and pride of the de Rolo family, now mostly broken and lain in the hands of the young Percy.
Pictured is the wonderful Taliesan Jaffe as Percy himself. I wish I knew who took the photos so I could credit them properly. If anyone knows who was behind this amazing photoshoot, please let me know so I can credit them!

One sentence has the power to wreck me, and boy did this line kill me in campaign one.
A solemn piece riffing on Vaxs theme I wrote a while ago. I wanted to evoke the kind of sorrow that this particular scene held in Critical Role. While maybe it doesnt evoke the kind of terror of an ancient dragon attack, this piece is all about a quieter, more intimate kind of fear. Fear of losing someone you love dearly. Fear of being just out of reach when something rips your sister from the living. That kind of fear doesnt always come bombastically. It doesnt always appear as righteous anger. It can be a quiet fear. It can sneak up on you and muffle any other feeling in your chest except that need to protect.
Do not go far from me. Because I cannot protect you if you do.
