In this video we take a ride on Burlington Transit’s route 1 Plains-Fairview, which runs Mainly East and West between Appleby Go Transit Station & Downtown Hamilton. Route 1 runs 7 days a week, using 40 foot transit buses.
71904 is a 2019 Novabus LFS and is part of a 7 unit order (71901-71907). These were the first and only fleet of buses purchased by Burlington to feature 4 digit fleet numbers, but a 7 was added prior to being placed into service. The 7 indicates the city designation, and all units following the purchase of the 19’s are numbered this way. These units are powered with a Cummins 8.9L EPA19 Diesel Turbocharged 6 cylinder Engine (L9) and a 6 speed automatic Allison World B400R6 transmission. These units use American Seating Vision & American Seating Insight passenger seats, and automatic climate control.
