MANNNN I love Bowserās Inside Story. The music is way too good for being on a DS. Honestly, there are way too many good DS OSTs out there. Iād say BiS is definitely one of the best though. And for having such an amazing OST, itās sad that the inside version of Grasslands, All The Way, or Bumpsy Plains really never gets heard. The most you hear it in game is when youāre playing as Bowser walking around Bumpsy Plains and have to do the Flower Pollen Mini game in Bowserās Nose Deck. And even then, youād probably only hear it for about 10 seconds before the actual Mini game music starts playing š Ay, still a banger song though and one that I will always love no matter how obscure it is.
I had a lot of fun with this remaster tho! The Inside Bowser versions of the overworld themes always have such strange sound/synth choices, so I had to take some creative liberties here and there to make sure itās as accurate as it can get āsound profileā wise. I even had to make a few sounds from scratch, like the bass, lead synth, and that strange string Arco pluck that plays alongside the main melody sometimes. It was a cool sound to dissect and try to recreate but man itās just a weird one hahaha. I really didnāt want to change the song too much since I really think this one already strives in its simplicity, so I just added a few percussion elements, some more synth accents, a few compositional changes, and thatās about it! I really hope you guys enjoy this little remaster of a beloved song from a VERY great game.
Also, thank you guys for 5,000 subscribers š„¹š I have something very special plannedā¦. Letās just say, itās been quite an āAdventureā to get here. And this isnāt even the āEndā of it! š
