Last year, during the 3rd Awdry Extravaganza held at the Talyllyn Railway, a vinyl recording of the story "Bulgy" from the Railway Series book, "Oliver the Western Engine" (1969), was found and showcased in a livestream of the event. No idea when this story was recorded, though I'm pretty sure it was recorded around the same time it was published, if not shortly after.
