I've wanted to do a reading of the Railway Series story "Ghost Train" for several months now, and I thought it'd be appropriate to do it for Halloween. And for some reason, when I had planned it, Pierce Brosnan came to mind.
As many of you know, Pierce was the narrator for the 2008 Thomas & Friends special "The Great Discovery", and was originally set to be the narrator for Season 12 in both the UK and the US, but eventually he was replaced by Michael Angelis and Michael Brandon, both of whom were already narrating prior to Brosnan's takeover.
Since Pierce said he had experience with reading the stories to his children when they were young, I wondered how his reading of the Railway Series would've sounded like. So there you go.
"Ghost Train" was written by the Reverend W. Awdry in 1972 for Book No.26 of the Railway Series, "Tramway Engines".
NOTE: My Pierce Brosnan voice isn't 100% accurate, partly because I'm American. But nevertheless, I've tried my best.
I might do more in future, I'm not sure.
