DIY Home Solar Panel System Installation
Ever think about building a solar power system? With the price of electricity going through the roof why wouldn't you? Or maybe you just want one for an emergency back-up? Don’t be afraid to do it yourself, it’s so easy even a kid can do it!
There are 4 main components to making your solar powered system.
Source: Solar panels
Converter: A charge controller turns the source power into a 12v current
Batteries: Storage for the power, you need some place to store the energy you’re collecting
Inverter: This changes 12v into 120v which most household electronics use.
We’re going to assemble a small system to show you the steps, but obviously you can go as large as you need.
