Welcome to Episode 13 of the vlog and Episode 3 of our massive room transformation! 🛠️
Today, we are tackling a critical element of turning this basic, builder-grade space into a sophisticated, moody studio apartment: the lighting layout and ceiling details. We’re moving the project from the garage grid to the room itself, installing a stunning, classic ceiling medallion, and pairing it with a Noguchi Akari paper lantern.
This project relies heavily on hunting for second-hand gems, unique vintage storefront finds, and a serious amount of sweat equity to give the space real structural character.
