Something a bit different this week as I recreate one of my 1990s 3 Series E36 BMWs and specifically the Touring (I also have a coupe). The Touring, or wagon, is new to me and I bought it in July 2023 as I have wanted one for absolutely ages. I am very pleased with the car as I had been hunting one like this and I knew this was just the right sort of project car. It will feature on a new You Tube channel soon and I wanted to interlink that channel with this one. What better way than to make an accurate replica of the car?
In this new series I will recreate my black BMW wagon and use the Hasegawa 1:24th scale BMW E36 320i Limited Edition plastic scale model kit as the basis. Added to that is the USCP (Ukrainian Scale Car Productions) resin transkit for the Touring, as well as the right hand drive interior detail up set and a few other extras like style 32 wheels.
In this film, I review the resin USCP parts and take a detailed comparative look at the Hasegawa kit. I thoroughly asses the parts in relation to my actual vehicle.
