To make pottery, last week I did a lot of wood working. This week, I do some welding. Weird how that doesn't make a lot of sense. Of course, what in life does make sense? Plenty, sure, but if you ignore all of that, my point stands.

Materials: 3/4" 4'x8' sheet of marine plywood
2 3' long 1" oak dowels
1 1" 4130 steel rod , 2 flange bearings, 1" inner diameter from www.grainger.com. McMaster carr probably too.
Lots of glue: Titebond III preferred
Screws: 4x 3", 5/18" stainless to prevent rusting inside the wood
