I find myself in need of another box-o-fire, this electric. Here's the plans. It runs 240v, somewhere around 12 amps, and will hopefully have a max temp of around 2400f. The fancy magical computer controller can be programmed to do anything, which means I can use this for heat treating metals, pottery, lost wax mold burnout, glass art, precious metal clay (whatever that is) and probably reheating my coffee with high precision. Heck, I could melt the coffee cup if I want.

This will not, however, be used to melt metal for casting. It will take too long. Fortunately my other box of fire can handle that (the fire brick foundry furnace: youtu.be/QzbuNlCO52Y )
