In this video, I demonstrate a simple xenon flash bulb driver that can be controlled using any microcontroller. The triggering of the driver is completely galvanically isolated by an optocoupler. I use the xenon flash bulb as a secondary light source for my Hamamatsu C12880MA spectrometer project.
