The sideboard project continues along! Now I'm installing the front door divider stiles, which not only break up the look of the doors on an aesthetic level, but also serve 2 functional and structural purposes: support the load of the drawers above and tie everything together to transfer weight to the legs and the floor and give something for the hinges to mount to.
It's a simple matter of installing via mortise and tenon joints, but rather than relying on measuring alone, I uses the pieces themselves to get an accurate fit, which is why I'm showing this process--to give an idea of what I do so I don't have to rely so much on measuring alone.

There, you'll see that I'm actually moving along at quite the pace, considering I'm not using any electricity except for lighting and heat (ha!) and since I've got a family and a full-time job!
