One of the critical steps when planning a layout is to actually test your plan in full size after transferring the plan to the layout. In this video I'll show you how I placed track, turnouts, and buildings on the design after transferring it to the layout, to make sure everything was going to fit the way I envisioned it. As you will see it can make a critical difference to the final plan. I'll also share with you my thoughts on the future configuration of the layout.
