Many UK modelers may not be aware of an economical option for adding DCC sound to their UK locos--the SoundTraxx Econami decoders made specifically for UK modelers. These small DCC decoders offer an impressive array of sounds and features often found only in more expensive decoders. I have found that I can install Econami decoders in my UK locos for about half what a LokSound or Zimo decoder would cost. So sit back as I introduce you to these great decoders and I'll also let you see and hear some of my loco installations. Note: SoundTraxx also offers the ECO-200, a slightly larger 2 amp version with the same sounds.
