I would rather have made this as a Christmas gift, but the baby is due in like 2 weeks. I want to say this was a fun project, but it quickly became a lot to handle since my shop isn't full set up yet. The rails and changing table are designed to come off (way down the road) so that the crib can convert into a bed for a toddler. There is so much of this project that wasn't recorded or video taped, but I finished it and that's all that really matters! I also got a lot of use out of our new ocelot tool - its really good at quickly trimming pocket hole plugs.
With a week left to move back up to school to a new apt, will I have time to finish getting my shop together and make Christmas gifts? No, but I'll make it work!
