In this video I repair a dead odometer on a Buick century. it is common for these to break when the MELF package resistors fall off the board. I always replace these with 150 ohm 3/4 watt resistors. Do not use THT film resistors it doesn't look professional. You can reflow the old resistors if they didn't all fall off the board but be aware it's going to take a lot of flux to reflow them. The solder faces on these MELF resistors are normally super corroded from heat.
