Adventurous Heart - Rachel Nagle | Buckeye Trail-Little Loop: Pt 5-Orchard Hills to Mentor Lagoons (Staying Warm & Campsite Selection) @AdventurousHeartRachelNagle | Uploaded December 2019 | Updated October 2024, 5 hours ago.
The 5th section of my microadventure of section hiking the Little Loop of the Buckeye Trail in Northeast Ohio brought me from Orchard Hills, Geauga Park District to Mentor Lagoons. Along the way, I spent the night in Lake Metroparks Penitentiary Glen, which allowed me to focus on campsite selection and staying warm in the backcountry.
