My versions of a neodymium ball magnet shape invented by Szaki. Thanks also to COCOAUB, sxeStracraft, and saxplayingcompnerd for construction ideas for the shapes in this video.
My version of a giant 12 sphere cluster here uses icosahedron spheres made with interlocked triangles of 18 magnet balls each, 20 of those per sphere, 12 spheres make up the large form.
Magnets used on the biggie = 18 x 20 x 12 = 4320 balls.
The smaller one uses 12 x 60 = 720 balls
(50/50 gold coated and nickel coated)
Music is the Waltz in A flat op. 39 No.15 by Brahms.
