The 360° rotation of the lens is GOLD for out-of-the-box shots & especially when paired with the 90 degree periscope lens.
Shot 3 we are buzzing about. We rigged up the rotation ring with the SmallRig Fiz Follow Focus system (as it has the same gears as the manual focus/aperture ring). We had Kacper rotate the lens as I pulled focus simultaneously to show the toppings falling onto the pizza and add the movement to follow it down. Probe lens shots can be a little bit ‘stale’ and samesies at times so it was fun experiment with some new moves.
Also when we smushed the lens into pizza sauce or the dough or even Kazza’s mouth - it’s a good job that this lens is waterproof so again can get super creative with where you stick it 😏
