Deaf poet John Wilson's signed poem (in British Sign Language) "Two Communities" tells of a mining disaster that involves some deaf miners, and the effect it has on their loved ones above ground. It was performed in a studio at the Centre for Deaf Studies in Bristol University in 2010
The poems in this channel are part of the collection made as the University of Bristol Sign Language Poetry Anthology with the aim to study metaphor in sign language poetry.
