2010 Broozer was born.
Featuring past and present members of: Kong, Ancient Man, Longpig and many more.
Who cares how it happened, all that matters is that Broozer is here.

"The sound from Bruce Ibbotson's Gibson, driven only by two pedals (i'm assuming they're labelled "hard" and "fucking harder"), feels as if it's tearing a hole in his amp on its way out. The sound is that fat. It really is visceral. The vocals are the epitome of doom. Singer Retch Bile's gutteral delivery, with his menacing stance and rolling eyes, is like something out of a horror movie. Yet surprisingly, it's not at all overpowering. It sits perfectly low in the mix between guitar and bass, while the whole thing gets driven along by Dario Amati's rampaging drums, song after song."

"Stepping up next were the night's guests of honour, Melbourne lads Broozer. These guys are yet another power trio, and were armed to the teeth with monstrously, impossibly huge riffs teamed with blue wife-beaters and pure amplification. Broozer pounded away at their set with prestigious enormity, burying the crowd under wave after wave of drone-inflected sludge-ridden doom like a local and more underground version of High on Fire, but without Matt Pike's belly blubber. "
- LOUD
The 3 corners or the triangle have met and are creating the equivalent of a mastodon fighting a brontosaurus in a jungle surrounded by zulu warriors, vikings and druids.

Describing themselves as tough technical modern sludge metal, Broozer have been existing for around 2.5 years. A 3 piece, Broozer create sludgy riffs, mixed with quirky time signatures, pulled together with dark droning grooves and topped off with self abusive tough guy vocals. If you thought innovation was dead in modern heavy music, this three piece will prove you completely fucking wrong.
Having shared stages with Beast Wars(nz), Monarch(france), Bloodduster, Psycroptic, King Parrot, captain cleanoff and played festivals including Bastardfest (melb), Slaughterfest (syd), Bloodrock Fest (perth) and Comafest (syd), Broozer are punishing eardrums with the best!
Debut album '12.04.12' was masterfully captured by Jason Fuller at Goatsound studios, Melbourne and is available from Grindhead Records.
