Take a closer look at the special exhibition Consuelo Kanaga:​ Catch the Spirit through conversations with contemporary photographers Tyler Mitchell and Qiana Mestrich, who take inspiration from Kanaga’s work.

The Talk begins with a conversation between Mestrich and Pauline Vermare, cocurator and Phillip and Edith Leonian Curator of Photography at the Brooklyn Museum. Their dialogue is followed by a conversation between Mitchell and Drew Sawyer, exhibition cocurator and Sondra Gilman Curator of Photography at the Whitney Museum.
