I don't even know how to describe this. It's a mesh of my feelings about OTH ending in general, and how that relates to Brooke and Lucas as a couple, and as characters. They both left Tree Hill multiple times in the show, but in the end they had created really great memories there together, and they had shared with each other the dream of having a family in the town they both loved and considered home-Tree Hill. So it's just really bittersweet that they never found their way together, but at the same time it's amazing to see how their journeys unfolded along the way.
Basically I'm just a sentimental fool.
