Okay this is an AU fake promo for a movie or mini-series, whatever you please, but here's the story.
Lorelai has someone out to get her, and they kill her in a car crash. So Rory has to move in with the Gilmore's. She learns what it was like for her mom growing up. She leans on her best friend since 1st grade, Jess Mariano for support. (they haven't dated) Then she meets Jess's old friend, Logan, and they start dating. Jess gets jealous, and Rory doesn't realize that he's always had feelings for her. So things get all mixed up when she starts fighting with Emily, Jess might leave town, and Logan proposes. So the end basicly shows how she needs to make a choice between the two, and Jess almost confessing to her.
