This version is from the expanded deluxe CODA release. It was apparently recorded on July 24 1969 at Atlantic Studios in NY, by Eddie Kramer. It sounds like it was a rehearsal or outtake. The band also received their first gold albums that day for their debut album.
Bonzo plays with reckless abandon, much like his live performances. There are some really ferocious 16th note explosive fills that I've rarely heard him play other than in his solos. This is about as close as I could get to those fills after listening very closely. Wicked stuff!
