This is the version from the old Pb bootleg, aka Mudslide. March 21 1970 in Vancouver. Playing along to these live tracks, especially the slower blues numbers is interesting because the tempo is very elastic. it is not by any means metronomic. Notice how at times, Bonzo pulls the beat back, and at other times he's pushing a bit forward, driving the beat ...especially on the turnarounds at the end of each chorus. This elasticity is one of the special ingredients in Zep's sound and feel, especially with regard to JPJ and Bonzo.
I am not playing what he played note for note, but I'm improvising in the style of the era's versions.
