Welcome Chang31ing and mycutiemarkisagun with their take on the meta joke in the community I watch the show for the plot! All in subtle tones, very danceable breaks are invading the dance floor just like a ponys plot would invade our libido.
Chang31ings past works incude both original pony songs and remixes of pony songs from the community, and he just dropped his latest EP titled Melt! It features collabs with StrachAttack and Sonic Breakbeat, and of course this plot-heavy track 4DaPlot in collaboration with the one and only mycutiemarkisagun aka MCMIAG, who did the I watch the show for the plot vocals that you can hear in this. Did you notice how it feels like the Cider Party logo in the video is twerking or something like that, when it starts wobbling again at 1:48 after that time of immobility? No? Maybe its just me then... But I found it so hilarious, I was laughing my flank off as I saw it while pre-rendering!
There was quite a few good candidates for the art to use for this upload, and it was hard to choose. I ended up going for this one from my folder, the visual style is close to that of the show, so it fits more to the I watch the show for the plot line. And the fact that its Rarity might be extra fitting because of that cat noise at 1:22 in the song, its like its from Opalescence..! As for the bed squeaking sample at 1:56, it makes me think of that time when Rarity was being a drama queen on her bed... maybe she has a squeaky bed or something, haha!
I tried to go for the perfect mirror and there was several tests, and I ended up editing the picture and extending the background so that it was perfect. Im happy with the result, and hopefully you will like it too! Much love!

One of the Trance OGs in the community along others like Thorinair or JayB, Sonic Rainboom aka ph00tbag just returned with a very appreciated new Trance beauty, themed around those who pursue magic, including our beloved Twilight!
Feel free to check out Sonic Rainbooms channel to see just how much he has contributed to the pony music scene over the years! Im so glad to see him back with a new tune! This was originally intended for a Ponies at Dawn album, and it has been refined further to what youre hearing now! Arcana is all about the pursuit of magic, in particular that of Twilight Sparkle in MLP and Stephen Strange in Doctor Strange. So this track has a dual meaning, as it samples both of those works! The Twilight samples for the vocal chops are from S03E13 Magical Mystery Cure. The mystical atmosphere of the track is definitely fitting for the theme, and the proggy nature could represent the progression toward the mastery of magic! And yet, the biggest realization is probably that the quest for knowledge has no end...

This is truly the era of compilation albums in the community!! PonyChord is definitely a label on the rise lately, hosting awesome releases from Drixale and Spikey Wikey, and now they organized a compilation album of their own, filled with amazing treats!
From the start of the album, you are greeted by awesome and creative pony initiatives, and stylish sound. Spikey Wikey aka Tacos, Cider Partys founder, does us the honor of an inventive House beauty that samples vocals from What My Cutie Mark Is Telling Me, a show song not often remixed or used, while One Track Mind delivers a very emotional and nostalgic treat calling back to early community classics such as Alex S. or Omniponys. 7th Stive, GrazySmash, and FelonOnBass contributed as well with real bangers! And now lets get to track #6, All Night Long from ponycutz that were presenting to you with this upload. Ponycutz is a fairly new and undiscovered pony musician, with a few tracks released so far and only 17 subs at the time of writing this. Lets fix that everypony! As you can hear with this song from PonyChords compilation album, the musician clearly knows what theyre doing, with a refined and rich progression, emotional vocal-like melodies, and a blissful and somewhat dark sound that is quite unique. Along with their solo releases that are quite impressive too, it definitely looks like its a musician to keep on your radar, and I have the feeling they havent finished blowing us away with tasty tunes! This video was done by Tacos as a nostalgic callback to the old CP video template and that kind of pony wallpaper art used back then too, to fit to the theme of the song... And let me tell you, when I checked out the video, I teared up from the nostalgia!! Im such a huge fan of Cider Party ever since I found out about the channel, very early when it only had 5-6 uploads or so, and Im so fond of that flair and style from back then with those choices of art and the edits, so I love this nostalgia moment SO much, not to mention it was done by the founder of Cider Party himself... Best nostalgic trip ever!! And in times like these I also get blown away all over again about the fact that I have become the new bartender... To now manage the channel Im such a fan of, is such a unique and incredible feeling..!

Exiarks highly-awaited new album is here! Otherworldly Journey is a stunning collection of divine songs from the musicians unique magic, and each of them tells a different part of a story centered around Lunas time while being banished. A millennium worth of incredible music, brought to us by indubitably one of the best musicians in our community...
We got hints of this coming album for a while, with past pre-releases such as Shards of Darkness, and Dark Ascension that was featured on Cider Party! Now Exiarks ultimate MLP-themed album is fully released and I cannot describe with words how utterly amazing and breathtaking the tracks on the album are, showcasing insane talent in composition and sound design, as well as Exiarks unique emotion that is truly otherworldly. And not only that, but its a concept album about Lunas 1000 years on the moon, and what she experienced there! Every track has a story that is following up through the entire album, and you can read it in each tracks description on Bandcamp. This one is about Luna finding a dark crystal taking over her and chasing her, and its definitely relfected amazingly by a dark sound design and atmosphere, an intricate composition of many surprises, haunting vocals, fast-paced relentless drops, and emotional melodies. Words are lacking to describe the powerful effect that some parts of this track do to me, its such an otherworldly emotion, and Exiark truly has that magic to instill that emotion through his divine music...

So yeah, that album. So incredibly amazing I cant put it into words. Just listen to the whole thing, chances are you will be blown away like I did.
Also, dont you think that the vocals in this track sound like theyre from Twilight? And the vocals from Accelerate sound like theyre from Celestia, so much! (gotta thank Megaphoric for that)
Also also, lens flares all the way! That artwork just called for recreating lens flares and animating them. There are some for the dark crystal, and some for Lunas eyes that only appear during the hard-hitting parts!

With a theme of exploring Gen 1-3 of MLP, our friends at Pinkamena Party certainly went a creative route and made for a lot of crazy surprises! Rest assured theres regular G4 pony stuff in the album too, though! Come party along, were all mad here...
Every new massive compilation album from the Pinkamena Party crew is always a blast, with so much fun, creativity, and passion from all those musical crafts from all around the community. This time is no different, and the new album PONYDOME VII: INJECTED WITH PONY certainly has that pony spirit going! So many of the musicians responded to the Gen 1-3 theme with fitting tracks, such as Additive Subtractive here who made a track about Lickety Split from G1, even using vocal samples! This Bouncy Techno track definitely gets us dancing, and brings in the madness in such quality musical ways! Definitely a masterpiece, and its not the only one! Some of my favorites from the album are Pernegyres DreSSeS in Style, Payyn & PoniPlagues Utter Flutter Blast, Kakofonous A. Dischords One Night in Cherry Jubilee, PhonicB∞ms Rope Swing to Ponyland, Foozogzs Fabulous Little Ponies, and Dynamite Grizzlys En Vogue pts I & II! They all are so creative and fun, with so many pony samples from both previous gens and Gen 4, and telling pony stories, too! Check them out and see for yourself! The whole album is definitely an awesome experience injected with pony as they have it, so go take a listen, and join the madness of the Pinkamena Party!

Now that the mega compilation album Ponies at Dawn Rebirth is out, it is an honor for me to present you my favorite track from it, a progressive masterpiece of intense and emotional storytelling. From Lunas banishment all up until her comeback, follow the full story arc along loophoofs beautiful music in this one-of-a-kind gem!
My mind went blank and I was literally blown away when I heard this track during the release party stream, and when I relistened to it I couldnt help but tear up. The focus on storytelling, and how loophoof expertly conducted it with a progression of several parts matching the events of the story, is just incredible and truly sets a new standard in pony music. How it includes every part of the arc with corresponding vocal samples from the show, and how it transitions between parts, bringing a new musical mood reflecting the story every time... is just wonderful and really to be praised.
Theres the heavier part starting at 02:25 embodying the original battle between Nightmare Moon and Celestia, the more ambient part starting at 03:10 amazingly reflecting being stuck on the moon and the setting there, then theres Nightmare Moons comeback from the S1 premiere put into epic music with a hint of vengeance at 05:15 (getting goosebumps from that part), and then the brighter and happier part starting at 05:37 upon Twilights use of the Elements of Harmony, including both Twilights heart-warming feelings toward her new friends (gosh Im tearing up again just writing this) and Celestias feelings as she welcomes back her beloved sister. That last part just makes me tear up every time I relisten to the track, its so so emotional, from the music, the voices of the ponies from the show, and what we feel for them...
Also for the backstory, the vocal chops in this song are all Lunas and the last section of them was the lines we understand you wanting more, a chance to shine, a chance to soar from the song Youll Play Your Part, and loophoof imagined it as Luna saying now Im shining forth, and both you and I will shine on more, which is so very lovely and gives so much depth and meaning to the chops, and even more emotion.
And by the way, for those who were wondering, 478,000 miles is the distance to the moon and back! Yes, loophoof even reflected the full story in the title!
I can only hope that you get to experience something wonderful with this track just like I did. Give props to loophoof for such an incredible and lovely piece of pony music! Available as part of Ponies at Dawn Rebirth among many other masterpieces, link below!

I loved this track so much that I had to make something special for it. This video is the closest I ever did to a full-fledged PMV for a Cider Party upload (not counting the comeback video), with how I included and edited show scenes much like a PMV, and furthermore syncing them with the vocal samples from the song. The part with Twilight and her newly made friends in particular is dear to me. Please see that tender and nostalgic moment in the video as my own heartfelt tribute to Twilights story and how she met the ponies that would become the most important ponies in her life. Just like the part with Luna and Celestia reuniting being my tribute to them and their story arc. I also intend my work to express once again my deep love for fellow fans who feel the same kind of powerful things for the ponies. We are bronies... and we will remember!

I have fond memories of the EQG movies, and that musical part from the first one was definitely so very nice and... EQG-like! It has that distinct charm that can only be found in EQG content. Here Tw3Lv3 teamed up with Blackened Blue for an uplifting new take on the song that made the whole cafeteria move! Punchy beats, a happy atmosphere, clean guitars, the energetic original vocals, as well as appreciated Pinkie vocal samples are all creating the perfect recipe for even more fun! Lets party harder than ever, with both the ponies and our Equestria Girls!

A brand new original track release from the musician, A Recurring Nightmare is an Ambient gem that is about some dream experiences that are not always pleasant... You can definitely feel the depth from the concept of dreams through the rich Ambient soundscape, paying tribute to the kind of atmospheres fitting to the Night ever so much at the same time. As someone who loves to go on Night strolls among Nature while listening to such music on headphones, I very much appreciate this!
