A heavily decomposed man was found in brush on the Southeast Side.
The body was found near the 8600 block of Hildebrandt, about 6 to 10 feet from the roadway in brush. The man had injuries to his lower extremities and was believed to be in his 30s or 40s.
Deputies said evidence found at the scene indicated a possible collision with a vehicle, and the death may have occurred three to five days before the body was found.
Anyone who believes they may have hit something or someone while driving in the area, or who has information about the case, is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000 or submit a tip through Bexar.org.
