They're back. It's back. We're back. And at a new venue.
The Cosmic Shambles Network and Phil McIntyre Live Limited are delighted to announce that Brian Cox and Robin's Ince's Christmas Compendium of Reason returns for 2021 at the iconic Royal Albert Hall on December 14th.
Sadly we didn't have a 2020 Compendium due to, well, 2020, so this year we're back with a bang. After Space Shambles and Sea Shambles we're excited to be bringing the traditional Compendium show to the Hall for 2021 in association with our good friends at Royal Albert Hall and Phil McIntyre Live Limited.
In the year of RAH's 150th anniversary celebrations, Professor Brian Cox and Robin Ince are heading to the famous South Kensington venue on December 14 2021 with their Christmas Compendium of Reason. Expect another exhilarating collision of science, music, comedy and wonder! Prepare for a show where you never know what scientific or musical treat will be next on stage. All proceeds will go to great charities like Médecins Sans Frontières UK, the Sophie Lancaster Foundation and Two Wheels for Life, amongst others.
As ever, the lineup will be a tightly guarded secret but previous shows have featured music icons like The Cure and legendary astronaut Chris Hadfield, plus surprises for comedy lovers, music fans, and science enthusiasts alike. Past Compendiums have also included guests such as New Order, Jo Brand, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Hugh Grant, Eddie Izzard, Dara Ó Briain, Duran Duran, Alice Roberts, Jim Al-Khalili and Carolyn Porco.
What have we got in store for 2021’s comedy, science and music explosive mix?
