As many of you know Helvellyn is my favourite mountain. I’ve lost count of the number of times I have hiked to its summit. I also love doing it for the sunrise and decided to hike up again a few weeks ago to catch the morning sun.
I started the walk at 02.30 and made it to the summit for around 05.00 for the sunrise. As I’ve filmed this hike several times already I thought I’d only share a short video with a few photos and clips from the summit.
But feel free to check out my previous helvellyn videos if you havent seen them yet. My favourite hevellyn sunrise was captured less than a year ago when i was lucky enough to catch a breathtaking inversion.
