Breakout Beyond is available for ALL major platforms, including Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam, Epic Game Store, and the Atari VCS 800. And I chose to experience it on the last of those consoles, thanks mostly to the spinner control compatibility. Well that and I play as many Atari games as possible on that console. Anyway, its been getting some mixed reviews, so lets see what I think of the game. Afterall, its my opinion that matters... I mean to somebody it does.
We rate all games on a 5 point scale on this channel and here is what each means:
5 out of 5 is PERFECT! A must play and own on the console!
4 out of 5 is Great! A game that most people should enjoy.
3 out of 5 is Good. A flawed game that is mostly enjoyable.
2 out of 5 is Bad. A flawed game that is mostly unenjoyable.
1 out of 5 is Garbage! Avoid these piles at all costs!
I also occasionally look at hardware and other Atari related things. These are either recommended or not. Sometimes undecided but usually I'll come up with one or the other!
