Kouri Richins’ defense just filed a bombshell motion accusing state investigators of threatening witnesses — and even a witness' dog.
Kouri Richins is accused of poisoning her husband Eric Richins with fentanyl. She wrote a book about helping her children deal with the grief of losing their father, and then was arrested and charged with his murder.
In a newly-filed motion, the defense claims they have text messages that prove prosecution investigators told one witness she might be arrested, and told another he might get his immunity revoked, if they refused to meet privately with the prosecution. Those texts were filed with the court — then placed under seal.
