In this video we take a ride on Brampton Transit’s route 4 Chinguacousy which runs Northwest & Southeast Between Mount Pleasant Go Station & Brampton Gateway Terminal while making a brief stop at Sheridan College Davis Campus. This route runs 7 days a week 365 days a year and utilizes standard 40 foot buses.
1202 is a 2012 New Flyer Xcelsior Diesel 40 foot low floor bus (XD40) and is part of a 10 unit order (1201-1210). This bus is part of the only fleet of buses Brampton Transit currently operates to be powered with a ZF transmission. These units are powered by a Cummins 8.9L EPA10 280HP Clean Diesel Turbocharged Engine (ISL9) paired with a ZF 6AP1400B 6 Speed Automatic Transmission. These buses ride on MAN axles, and are equipped with operator controlled Climate Control for passengers, and American Seating InSight seating.
