In this video we take a ride on Miway’s route 61 Mavis which runs north & south Between City Centre Transit Terminal (Square One Shopping Centre) & Sheridan College Davis Campus. This route runs 7 days a week and utilizes standard 40 foot buses.
1045 is a 2010 Orion VII HEV and is part of a 15 unit order (1031-1045). These buses were Miway’s first Hybrid buses, and the first “MiLocal” branded buses. These units are powered by a Cummins 6.7L Clean Diesel Turbocharged 250HP EPA-2010 Engine (ISB6.7) mated to a BAE Series hybrid-drive system (HDS200). These units ride on MAN Drive Axles, and have driver controlled heating and cooling for both driver and passengers. These buses also feature 4ONE Aries seats for the passengers.
