20th century decorative arts and design aficionados know to find the Milan and London based gallery Robertaebasta, whose eclectic displays of unique modern Italian and French design are true eye-catchers.
In this video they present three of their BRAFA in the Galleries exhibits, one of which is a brilliant Trumeau by Piero Fornasetti (Milan, 1913-1988) and Gio Ponti (Milan, 1891- 1979). The midcentury design piece has a delightful printed decor with cornucopias, garlands with hunting and fishing motifs, fruits musical instruments, astronomy and architecture equipment on the outside, while the inside displays a fool with mandolin and champagne flute.
BRAFA in the Galleries (27 - 31 January 2021) is the newly created alternative to the BRAFA Art Fair at Tour & Taxis, Brussels, which has been postponed to January 2022. Our exhibitors will welcome you in their galleries, where they will present the objects and artworks selected for BRAFA 2021 in the best possible conditions. In total, 129 art dealers spread across 14 countries and 38 cities look forward to sharing their passion for the beautiful, the rare, the precious and the historical in a warm, friendly atmosphere, in line with the rules in place in their area.
