Bozeman residents are facing higher utility costs as city leaders move forward with new rates and assessments tied to infrastructure needs, years of delayed increases and a major city facility project.

For the average Bozeman homeowner, city officials estimate the combined impact of new utility rates and assessments will add $14.89 per month in fiscal year 2027. That is down from an earlier projection of more than $20 per month.#montana
