It took the Council over 9 months to clean-up this area. There is a story that goes with the films regarding Boulcott Street. Ask if you want and you shall be told.
The Story.
Some people think that Boulcott Street is a street to dump rubbish in. The council is charged with keeping the streets clear. The Rate-payers are charged, literally, for the cost of this clean-up. Last summer much rubble/rubbish was dumped at the northern end of the street. the fact that it was there was communicated to the council by at least August 2009. It took 'til May 2010 to get the debris removed.
The right-of-way is established and for some reason the Council blocked off the road under the railway. I am considering challenging the closure of this road/street. Updates with regards ADOPT A ROAD.
